Last year I had the pleasure of meeting Natalie Zaman and Charlotte Bernnardo at BEA’11. They were there signing copies of their new YA series Sirenz. I immediately fell in love with these lovely ladies. They were both hilarious, sweet, and even shared my Ian Somerhalder obsession. I walked away from meeting them with a huge grin on my face, ready to read book one in the Sirenz series. I loved it, and I loved book two in the series, Sirenz Back in Fashion as well. My review will be coming on Tuesday because, I have a Mount Olympus or possibly Meg (aka high school me) themed photo shoot to do for the post. (I can never resist the opportunity to dress up for a book I love.) The following is a guest post from Charlotte and Natalie, and it features a really great giveaway. Keep reading after the post for more info about the authors and Sirenz Back In Fashion. Sirenz Casting Call

Just about every author does it—dreams of a day when their work will be brought to the big—or small—screen. We’ve had several readers tell us, “I can TOTALLY see Sirenz as a movie!” Believe us, we’ve thought about it too. (This series MUST be made into a movie. – Mandy)

We don’t agree on everything, but one thing we have ALWAYS been on the same page about is that if Sirenz were to ever be made into a movie or TV show and we could have anyone we wanted to play Hades, it would be…

Oh yes. He would make a delicious Hades! (Um, HECK YES! Ian for Hades! – Mandy)

But what about the other characters? Shar? Meg? Persephone?

Who would you cast as the ill-fated roommates, the disgruntled mother-in-law, the hell on heels wifey-poo? Leave us a comment below with your choices. For every character you cast you’ll receive an entry to win this amazing Sirenz Prize Pack: a SIGNED copy of Sirenz: Back In Fashion, bookmarks, a large diamond ring paperweight, gold chocolate coins all in a pretty pink bag!! (Prize pack pictured at left.)

About The Authors

Nat: When not playing with pointed objects, Natalie Zaman is usually writing. She lives in central New Jersey with her family and several fine looking chickens.
Twitter: Natalie_Zaman
Char: Lover of sparkly things, Char doesn’t have as many shoes as she’d like, but wouldn’t have time to wear them anyway with her three boys, husband, cat with issues, demented squirrels and insistent characters all demanding her time. She is represented by Natalie Lakosil of the Bradford Literary Agency and is hoping to get all her characters into print just so they’ll be quiet.

About Sirenz: Back In Fashion

In Sirenz, boarding school roomies Meg and Shar learned the hazards of making a deal with Hades, Lord of the Underworld. The wearing of a Tiffany’s diamond ring in Sirenz Back In Fashion reactivates their contract, they find themselves back in his employ as sirens. And things are a little different this time; Shar is whisked off to the Underworld to play hostess as the dark god attempts to win her affections, while Meg is stuck topside, obligated to send spoiled rich girl Paulina Swanson to the Underworld. Hot gods, mere mortals and the Underworld have their secrets. Will Meg and Shar ever ditch Hades, and keep their wardrobes and souls intact?

I may get swung at but Ashley Tisdale as Shar? I haven’t seen her in anything but HSM and the one Disney movie where she was an angel, but she seems like she can handle multiple angles in acting. :-)
I also had another blonde actress around the same age, but I can’t think of her name and google can’t help me on this one. I don’t watch a lot of TV, but I will post the girls name when I think of it. LOL
